Dr. Joanna Krajewski
Dr. Krajewski is the faculty advisor for Dow Advantage Public Relations. She is a professor of strategic communication with a primary focus on water sustainability and environmental risk issues. She holds a Ph.D. in Mass Communication (emphasis in Environmental Risk Communication) and a M.P.H. in Community and Behavioral Health, both from the University of Iowa. Dr. Krajewski has worked on several campaigns for water sustainability and public health in both India and Haiti. She has also studied the influence of interpersonal communication and media on sustainable agriculture in Iowa. Dr. Krajewski has served as the advisor for Dow since 2018 and looks forward to continuing to support students’ real-world experiences in strategic communication through this club.

Abby Matthews
President
Abby Matthews serves as the President of Dow Advantage. Abby is a senior who is majoring in strategic communication and minoring in advertising. She also remains involved in many other clubs and organizations on the Flagler College campus which allow her to integrate them with her work in Dow Advantage Public Relations Group. Abby is the Public Relations Director for the Flagler College Chapter of Public Relation Student Society of America and a member of Phi Alpha Omega honor society. Abby also serves as the chair of the "Com Week" committee in Dow Advantage, which is a week-long Communication Department event that hosts seminars with professionals of various experience in the communication field.
Madilyn Lay
Vice President
Madilyn is pursuing a bachelor's in strategic communication with a minor in business administration. Transferring to Flagler College in 2020, after completing an Associate of Arts degree, she strives to be a positive and motivated professional. Madilyn is a goal oriented and involved student. She is the Public Relations Student Society of America secretary and most recently student-led PR firm, DOW Advantage, Vice President. In these roles she utilizes her skills in both professional writing and creative design technology such as InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop. Madilyn is also responsible for the planning and execution of content on both Instagram and Facebook for REVERB Church located in Saint Augustine. Madilyn believes the foundation for creating a successful campaign relies on strategically crafted creative elements. She strives to meet goals efficiently and effectively
